On a hot and sunny day in Penrith, more than 100 athletes took to the Penrith Whitewater Stadium course for an action packed day of racing at the 2025 Canoe Slalom Oceania Championships.

As competitors from 16 nations arrive in Australia for the 2025 Canoe Slalom Oceania Championships, two-time Paris Olympic bronze medalist Kimberley Woods and silver medalist Adam Burgess from Great Britain are excited to be back in Australia.

Crossing the ditch, New Zealand joins 15 other nations at the 2025 Canoe Slalom Oceania Championships in Penrith this weekend. We caught up with Paris Olympic champion Finn Butcher and rising junior Oli Puchner.

Penrith Whitewater Stadium will host the first Canoe Slalom event of the season this weekend, as the 2025 Canoe Slalom Oceania Championships take place from Friday 24 – Saturday 26 January.
